Cross

This is at the very top of the mountain! I biked up yes! There's a myth: A group of settlers came over from Spain, and they were Catholic. They thought that it was a great place... Until winter came. They were on the lake when the first horrid winter came. The captain of the settlers prayed to God saying "If you let us live through this, I'll climb up the mountain and put a cross up on top of it." They lived through it of course and he did like he promised, he climbed up and put a cross on top and Myth has is that ever since that day in about 1607, a cross has been on top of the mountain.
Today the cross is... A radio antennae for the Catholic radio in Montreal! I think that it's cool!

Mountain View

View:
From top of Mount Royal! That's where the name Montreal. It sounds similar doesn't it?! I biked up, got lost, went too far, Dad had to rescue me, I found my way back before I found dad, dad got mad because I didn't understand his directions... No one got hurt so, it's all good!!!

Silicon Chair

Look how awesome this chair is!! It looks like it was made out of silicon! (I forgot to check what it was made out of!!). I don't think that I could hold anyone up, but I would have to test the theory. Stupid rules! I wanted to sit in so many of the chairs! Some looked super uncomfortable while some looked super comfy while I was really unsure if they would hold up any amount of human weight!

Seussical Chair

This is a chair in the Art Museum. I love this chair and I think that it's very Seussical (Dr. Seuss) (the picture is on it's side so imagine that it's not.) This is my favorite piece of furniture in the entire museum!!! It's very tall and grand and I like the color too! It would NEVER fit in my house though!! Sad, but true. I am standing above from the next half storey.

Boat

This is a very large boat in the harbor! It's a cargo ship. This is right next to the Science museum (we tried to go in, but it was much too busy!). Montreal is an island so there is a LOT of water and there are seagulls all over Montreal too. I think that it's cool, but some people disagree with that statement.

Horse drawn carriage

This is a horse drawn carriage that goes around Old Montreal and the driver (musher... whatever) tells you what everything is and if basically your tour guide from the carriage. I didn't ride in one (not enough time and not enough want). I enjoy watching them than being in them.

"Family"

This is the beginning of the archeology museum! (it's really the end, but the beginning of the pictures!). It's a family dancing to a old folk french song... that I forgot the name of! It's a pretty song and the "family" spins like those
jewelry boxes with the ballerina in the middle and you would wind it up!

Old Shoes compared with Converse

The bottom picture is a pair of shoes that
archaeologists unearthed! I much rather prefer my converse. I'm also putting a picture of my converse on here to show you the difference! Isn't that weird with the differences! They don't look particularly comfy to me either (converse are EXTREMELY comfy to me... If only I could find mine...)

Old Wall

This is part of a wall that archeologists found under Montreal. There used to be a wall that separated Montreal from the indians because they were afraid. This isn't from that wall though. Just from a building of some sort. I still think it's cool though! This is at The Archeology Museum in Montreal. We went on the free day of the year and it was CROWDED!!!

Croissants

These are croissants from the bakery in the market! The lady who was putting them all into a pile looked at me funny! The nerve!! I got a baguette instead though. It was still good. Tres good!

Blurry Pastry

This is a very blurry picture of a pastry in the market... I would've gotten another (and hopefully better) picture, but someone ordered it!! THE NERVE OF SOME PEOPLE! Gosh! It looks soooooooo good too!!! I was in line to get a baguette. The baguette was the bun and we had sausage hot-dogs for dinner... It was finger lickin' good! Yummy!

Hanging sign

This is one of the Hanging Signs at the market. This one shows that it's mainly fruit and vegetables at that certain part of the market! I like it!

French/English sign

A sign (guess where it's at!!!) that has french on top and english on bottom! This is on the meat case (the one with the deli meat and sausage! YUM!!! It's sad but really cool to be able to translate it! This is a good way to learn French, and also by looking at pictures!

Deli Meats

Just plain deli meats this time! Still good and still at the market. We didn't buy any of these, but they look really good!!!

Inferno

Still more sausage!!  This one is inferno... Which means HOT! Spicy hot! (It would hopefully be heat hot after you cooked it though!) Still at the market!

Sea of Sausage

look at all of the sausage!! this isn't even all of it! You could live on sausage for a long time if you worked here!! Sausage is squishy before you cook it just F.Y.I.. Not too pleasant! Still at the market!s

My Sausage

This is the sausage that I got: Feta and Olives. It's REALLY good! I had it for dinner tonight! YUMMY! Again, at the fabulous market!!!!

Green Sausage

This is Spinach sausage. This is also at the market! That label is spinach in french! I took the picture because of green sausage! It looks really cool. I also got sausage that I ate for dinner from this place!

Mural

A mural on a wall in the market! I took a pic of the CORN (obviously) This on the wall on the entrance of the market above the ATM machine. Cool right!

BAGEL

That's me devouring a bagel from St- Viatuer Bagels. THEY ARE REALLY GOOD! If you happen to go to Montreal anytime soon you have to eat one of those bagels and if you ever go to Canada (any part) you have to have Brio! And yes, I realize that I'm wearing a Washington D.C. sweatshirt!
